Multiple bends with replaceable forming blocks
The patent addresses steel tubes with several bends by placing the corresponding contours in a pair of upper and lower forming blocks. Their matching surfaces can form multiple bends in one pressing operation. The working profiles of the blocks define the bent shape.
Sealing heads are fitted at the sides of the tool, with pistons and rods in the upper assembly for liquid filling and venting. In this design the liquid provides cooling during pressing; the blocks perform the bending. Forming contours and fluid-handling components have separate roles.
ShuiYiYuan also provides releasable mountings for the blocks. They slide into the die assemblies and are held by locking blocks. Release plates move the locks, while springs maintain their engaged position. The parts in direct contact with the tube can therefore be removed and replaced.

Paired bend profiles with spring-loaded locks
The upper forming block mounts below the upper die assembly, with the lower block above the lower assembly. Their working faces define the tube contour together. Several bend positions can be included in the pair to suit a multi-bend steel tube.
Left and right sealing heads connect at the tube ends. Pistons and rods inside the upper assembly provide hardware for filling and air release, supporting the liquid's cooling role during pressing. The bending blocks, sealing heads and venting components each have dedicated mounting positions.
Release plates run in slots at the sides of both die assemblies and connect to multiple locking blocks. Movement of a plate withdraws the locks so that a forming block can be removed. Springs hold the locking parts in their extended position when the release force is removed. Both upper and lower forming blocks use this releasable mounting design.
Design features
Several bend positions in one matched pair
The upper and lower blocks carry corresponding profiles for forming several bends in a single pressing operation. The tube contour is contained in the replaceable blocks, while the main die assemblies provide their mountings and support.
Sliding mounts with spring-loaded retention
The forming blocks slide into the die assemblies. Release plates and locking blocks provide a detachable connection, with springs maintaining engagement. The working blocks can be replaced without changing the main die assemblies that support them.
